NOBEL PRIZE IN CHEMISTRY

Hello!
Today I'm going to write about Osamu Shimomura, a Japanesse Scientist who had recieved a nobel prize in chemistry on 2008. He won the prize with other scientist, and they discover a green fluorescent protein.

Osamu Shimomura was born in Japan, exactly in Kyoto, on August 27, 1928. Later, he moved to Ishahaya, and it was located from 15 miles of the epicentre of the atomic bomb. Shimomura said that he heard the bomber who was to bomb the city with the atomic bomb, and the flash of the atomic bomb blinded to Osamu for 30 seconds. He also had been drenched by the atomic bombs fallout.

Osamu Shimomura didn't had lot of opportunities for study, but he inssisted on continueing with the studies and he finished the universisty. Apart from that he was awarded a BS degree in pharmacy in 1951.Then, he  find employment as an assistant to Professor Yoshimasa Hirata at Nagoya University in 1956.

 In 1962, Shimomura worked in the Department of Biology at Princeton for Professor Johnson to study Jellyfish. There, they find the green fluorescent protein, and that was the reason of the Nobel price that he recieved in 2008.

TIMETABLE

Hi! Today I have my school timetable to show you. this was an excersise for the ICTs lesson. To see my timetable click here. There you can see what type of subjects I have in this course. The most strong days that we have are Tuesday and Thursday, we have the most important subjects, but the rest days we have more relaxed lessons, for example, ICTs lesson is more relaxed because we are doing our own blog. COLLABORATIVE STORY

The collaborative story, is a story that it has been make by all the members of the classes. Firstly, we put in pairs and we wrote a introduction. Then we continued with the story of the next groups one by one, in that way we can create a story made by all the members of the class. Once upon a time, a boy called Philip James found his girlfriend dead when he arrived home. James was a 27-year-old that was living with his girlfriend Zsofia until she died, unexpectedly. She was a nice girl, and she hadn’t got any health problems. Some days after her death, the police decided to make her an autopsy. When the doctor finished it, he found something very strange.

Zsofia had a scratch in the neck, a scratch of an animal. The police said than it was not very important the scratch, but then, the autopsy showed that the cause of the death was that. The police started investigating what type of animal killed Zsofia, and a lot of month later they knew what they were talking about.

After they investigated the crime thoroughly, they knew that the animal that scratched Zsofia was a puma, they said it was normal that a puma killed her, because they are very aggressive and if they see a human they attack immediately. Also they were very common in that zone and the family members of Zsofia said that she liked going to the forest at night.


The family members of Zsofia went to the forest at 3 o´clock in the morning to see if it was true that there are many pumas in the forest. Suddenly, they heard many noises near the place where they were. They were frightened, and they started running and running, and when they saw a tree, the family climbed it up to hide.

They were on the top of the tree and they saw that the puma was waiting down for the family. They decided to wait up on the tree but the night was very cold and they didn’t have anything to cover themselves. In the morning they saw that the puma wasn’t there and they climbed down the tree. They were going to their house, but they didn’t find the road to go home.

After some hours, they saw a lake, and they drank water and they made some weapons to protect themselves and kill the puma. Suddenly, the grass started moving, and when they didn’t expect anything, the puma attacked them. they started hitting the puma with stones and with the weapons they made but the puma was very powerful and killed a policeman and scaped into the forest.

They stayed in the forest until the sun appeared. They started looking for the way to go home. After find the way they started walking to go home and there were very tired. After 3 hours walking they saw a car, they did auto-stop and the driver pick them. The driver asked them where did they want to go.

At that moment the car driver stopped his car, and he opened the boot of the car, suddenly, he took a gun and killed all the members that were at the car. After killing he threw to all of them at the river, and he tried to scape. He travel to Scandinavia and he stay there for 3 months, but the police, notice that a assassin was in they country, and after a long search they fined him and he become a prisoner for all his live.

SU TA GAR

Su ta gar its a group made in Eibar, Basque Country, on 1987. The type of music that they play is Heavy metal. Nowadays, there are not the same in the band, becouse some of theme were died or they didn't want to continue on the group. The first members of su ta gar were, Aitor Gorosabel, Xabi Bastida, Asier Osoro and Borxa Arrillaga. But on the year 1995, Borxa Arrillaga, the drum of su ta gar, had a car accident, and he stayed on wheelchair. That happenned when they had all the material for the new disc ready, so the brother of Borxa Arrillaga, Galder Arrilaga, became the new drum of su ta gar. But during this years, Asier Osore left the group and he occupied his job David Zarzosa.

Su ta gar had sell a lot of discs that are very famous, but they have one that is the most famous one, and the best disc that they had sold in my opinion, the name of this disc is "Homo sapiens". Su ta gar has one song that is very famous, and probably anybody of the Basque Country knows their song "Jo ta ke", but for me it isn't the best song, in my opinion they had better songs. But there are more discs in their history for example:

• Jaiotze basatia.
• Hortzak Estuturik.
• Munstro Hilak.
• Sentimenak Jarraituz.
• Agur Jauna Gizon Txuriari.
• Su ta Gar 1987-89.
• Homo Sapiens.
• Jo Ta Ke.
• Itsasoz Beteriko Mugetan.
• Jainko Hilen Uhartean. 

But now Su ta gar is preparing a new album called "Ametsak pilatzen".

In few words, su ta gar is considered the best band heavy on the Basque Country, and in my opinion it is one of the best groups for me. They had given a lot of concerts in the whole world, so that could be one example of the quality of this heavy group. Now I'm going to put one song of the new disc, I hope you will like it. ENJOY IT!!

TUENTI, FACEBOOK...

Hi! today I'm going to write about social websites, and I will give you some advice to you. I think that it's a very good thing for me to have a social website, it has a lot of good things to do and to get your life better.

Firstly, you can speak with your friends without being with them, and you can meet with your friends when you are at home. I have tuenti since I was 12 and I'm very happy with this social website.

The next good thing about tuenti is that you can know about more people and speak with them. But now tuenti has a lot of new things like videos and games that 1 year ago you hadn't. 

But tuenti doesn't have only good things, there are some people that the only thing that they want to do is to steal passwords, and they can get in your account easily if they know your password, but this is not usual, for example I don't have any friend that they had stole they password, so there is no problem.

Finally,  when you create a tuenti account, you have to set up the privacy options, so you will not have any problem. In that way anybody can't see your profile without being your tuenti friend.

In conclussion, I think that the best thing you can do is create an account of a social website, it can be anyone, Facebook, Tuenti, Twiter..., and as you create this account you will see the best things of the social wabsite, so the best thing that I can tell you is......GOOD LUCK!!!!
